Members of the European Parliament Vladimir Bilčík (EPP, SK) and Matjaž Nemec (S&D, SL) will come to Belgrade for a working visit on 29 and 30 September 2022.

In their capacity as lead Members for the Western Balkans and Serbia, mandated by Parliament’s Democracy Support and Election Coordination Group, they will meet with representatives of the parliamentary groups in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the country’s leadership.

This working visit is organised within the framework of the European Parliament’s dialogue activities with the National Assembly of Serbia, the Inter-Party Dialogue. The objective of the visit is to discuss the prospects of cooperation during the new parliamentary term, following the April 2022 elections.

Since 2019, Mr Vladimir Bilčík serves as European Parliament’s Standing Rapporteur for Serbia and substitute member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Mr Matjaž Nemec joined the European Parliament in June 2022 and serves as Member of the Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee and Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
