EU Delegation to Serbia, in cooperation with Serbian European Integration Office and EU Info Centre, organises EU Projects Fair – «EU and Serbia at Work». The Fair will take place on Tuesday, 17 March 2015 in Belgrade, in Mixer House space (46 Karađorđeva st.), at 11:00.

The event is aimed at media and press, to bring them closer to EU-funded projects, implemented in cooperation with Serbian institutions, with Serbian citizens being end beneficiaries. Via media and press, Serbian citizens are also expected to learn more about EU’s assistance. Since 2000, the EU has invested EUR2,87 billion in Serbia, and this event is designed to present the most successful projects in one place for the first time.

Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Ambassador Michael Davenport, Minister without portfolio in charge with European integration Jadranka Joksimovic and Head of European Investment Bank Office Serbia Andreas Beikoswill address the guests at the opening. The Fair will be participated in by representatives from the EU Delegation, various ministries and other state institutions. In the afternoon, a workshop will take place, titled “Funding opportunities and how to write successful projects”, aimed at media representatives.

Mixer House will host the presentation of various sectors that have received EU support in Serbia – health, energy, environmental protection, education, social protection, culture, media and civil society, justice and internal affairs, agriculture, and the last year’s assistance for flood relief.
