At this year’s eighth Mental Health Festival (FMZ), which will be held from tomorrow, October 10 to 20 in Novi Sad, more than 40 different events will be organized.
The theme of this year’s Festival is empathy, and the EU info point organises several interesting workshops in Novi Sad and Pančevo for different generations, with the aim of promoting mental health care and empathy.
The manager of the EU info point Novi Sad, Jelena Anđelovski, says that the Point, on behalf of the Delegation of the European Union, takes great pleasure in participating and providing support in initiatives that concern us all, and one of those initiatives is certainly mental health.
“We all have mental health and it concerns all of us, and there is nothing more important than gathering all actors: professionals, institutions, non-governmental organizations, as well as individuals, and combining all the potentials and opportunities that are affirmed in this way in order to supported others in the field of mental health, a very important aspect in our lives”, she stated.
The Mental Health Festival will open on Tuesday, October 10, which is World Mental Health Day.
In the central part of the program in Sokolski dom (Ignjata Pavlasa 2-4), the EU info point will have a stand, along with many other organizations that point to the importance of mental health. The central part of the program will be held from 5:20 p.m., in the courtyard of Sokolski dom, where the State Work team, the KC “Sklonište” band and the “Dobri ljudi” orchestra, made up of students from the “Dr. Milan Petrović” elementary school, will perform.
